Commissions
Creating commissioned pieces or bespoke art is a great way to adorn your walls with a unique artwork based on your vision and desires and its a joy for me to bring to life. Together we will work together to decide on composition, colours and general feel of the artwork. Whether you’ve seen an artwork that you like from my gallery or have a completely unique idea I would love to hear from you. The process can take upwards of 8 weeks depending on the size of the piece.
Process
Details to think about..
- Size of piece and orientation: horizontal/vertical (I am able to make large pieces of up to 1.2m x 1.5m)
- Colours required, with metallic Gold/Silver or not
- Painting surface (Nara Synthetic Paper/Canvas)
- Style of painting (by checking my profile for previous images)
- If calligraphy is required, Ayah or quote must be provided.
It is always best to provide as much details as possible when ordering a commissioned piece. Once I have provided you with a quote and timeframe I will require a non-refundable 50% deposit prior to beginning the piece.
Any calligraphy will also be sketched separately so you are happy with it before it is scripted on the final piece. I will provide you with a picture of the artwork half way through.
Due to the nature of the inks, it is impossible for me to recreate a previous piece of mine. Each piece that is created is completely unique and cannot be recreated and that is the beauty of this medium.
