This workshop is designed for women who are ready to slow down and lose themselves in colour — whether you’re picking up alcohol ink for the very first time, or coming back to go deeper. Either way, you’re in the right place.
Together we’ll explore the art of ripple and flow — using a hair dryer to move ink across the surface, learning how to guide colour with intention, and discovering the quiet satisfaction of a skill that takes seconds to learn and a lifetime to master.
Held in a warm, unhurried space with mindfulness woven into every step. No experience. No pressure. Just ink, breath, and the pleasure of making something beautiful with your hands.
What you’ll explore:
• Ripple and flow techniques using a hair dryer on Nara paper - plenty available for you to practice the skill.
• Controlling ink movement and layering colour with intention
• The meditative rhythm of working slowly and with focus
• Leaving with a finished A3 masterpiece — and a little more of yourself unlocked
